Moo Food.

Muir of Ord (MoO) Food is a volunteer led community project running our community fridge, community orchard and a number of growing boxes.

The community fridge helps us all to cut food waste. It’s in the square beside the Hub and it’s open between 8am and 8pm – check out the fridge and cupboards and take what you’ll use, or drop off stuff you won’t. 

The community orchard is in the school park. There are cooking apple, eating apple, plum and pear trees which are steadily growing and give more fruit every year.

There are a dozen growing boxes around the village, with a few groups having “adopted” one to look after.
