Muir Matters is the voice of Muir of Ord. We share news, history and stories from the community in the village and surrounding areas. Muir Matters costs just £1 and comes out quarterly – pick up your copy wherever suits you from the list below.
Want to promote your business or event? Our rates: full page £100, half page £50, quarter page £25, small ad £10. We can help you with ad design for a one off fee of £25. Public information notices, announcements from clubs or societies, and charity events are FREE.

Muir Matters is the voice of our village; we want it to reflect everyone who lives here. Anyone can get in touch with suggestions, and if you have a story to tell then send it in. Contributions don’t have to be polished; if it meets our content policy and is of interest to people in the village then we want to read it. Email us with finished articles (any length up to a page), or just ideas for articles. We are particularly keen to hear from people who haven’t published before so don’t be shy!
Muir Matters is for sale in the Hub, the “fillie” (the filling station), the Pharmacy and the garage in Beauly.
