Muir of Ord Development Trust.
Managing and developing village facilities for the benefit of the community.
Our key focus is to provide recreational facilities and activities to benefit the whole community. We manage The Muir Hub, the Village Hall and the Community Pavilion and support a wide-ranging programme of activities. We’re working to improve the health and well-being of individuals, and to strengthen our sense of community.
The organisation currently has two members of staff and is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We also have more than fifty dynamic volunteers whose vital input supports our work.

A bit of history: Muir of Ord Hall and Facilities Company was established in 2011 to take ownership of the Village Hall on behalf of the community.
We have since developed the Old Tarradale School into The Muir Hub and have refurbished the Village Hall.
To reflect the range of our activities we changed our name to Muir of Ord Development Trust. The Trust will also eventually take over the assets of the Muir of Ord Community Association.
